Cause of Death Determined for Man Found in Walmart Parking Lot

The cause of death has been determined for the 30-year-old man that was found dead in the driver's seat of a car in a Sioux Falls Walmart parking lot on (July 7).

KDLT News is reporting autopsy results show the deceased man died of natural causes.

Authorities responded to a medical emergency around 9:00 PM on the evening of July 7 in the South Louise Avenue Walmart parking lot.

According to KDLT News, police were notified of the emergency by a passerby who had smelled an odor coming from a white 2011 Honda CRZ.

The man is believed to have been in the car in the Walmart parking lot since the late evening hours on July 1 based on findings from authorities after viewing surveillance footage provided by the store.
