The Sioux Empire Fair will soon be kicking off (Friday, August 2 at 5 PM) and this year there will be brand-new activities for everyone to take in including the opening night Fiesta Latina.

Dakota News Now is reporting that Sioux Empire Fair President & CEO Scott Wick met with the South Dakota Hispanic Chamber of Commerce about the proposed new fair event and the huge community response is how it came into being.

The Sioux Empire Fair offers reduced admission prices on Friday, August 2 for the opening day. Admission for August 2 is $5 for ages 6 and up, and free for children ages 5 and under.
