According to Mindat.org "Gold has been found in the Zumbro River near Zumbro Falls, Wabasha County to Dodge County and perhaps as far as the confluence with the Mississippi River."
The DNR says that overall there are almost 62 areas in Minnesota where you could expect to find gold.
