‘The Fray’ Set to Play the 2024 Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls
A band that experienced a great deal of chart success in the mid-2000s is coming to Sioux Falls later this summer to perform.
Denver, Colorado's very own "The Fray" is coming to play the Sioux Empire Fair this August.
Best known for their songs "How To Save a Life", "Over My Head (Cable Car)", and "You Found Me", The Fray is a Grammy-nominated American Rock Band that was formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King.
Since that time, the band is now comprised of King, together with Dave Welsh and Ben Wysocki.
The pop-rock band relies heavily on the use of the piano as the lead instrument in a great majority of their songs. For that reason, they've drawn a comparison to the band Coldplay in the music industry.
The group openly admits bands like U2, The Counting Crows, and Better Than Ezra have all had a huge influence on their brand of music throughout the years.
According to Dakota News Now, The Fray will take the Billion Automotive Main Stage on Saturday, August 3rd during the 2024 Sioux Empire Fair.
The concert will be free to the public with paid fair admission, which is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 6 - 12, and free for children ages 5 and under. $25.00 pit passes can also be purchased. Advance sales for those begin on Monday, June 3rd at SiouxEmpireFair.com.
Also, scheduled to perform at this year's Sioux Empire Fair are Jo Dee Messina, Flo Rida, Travis Denning, and country artist Connor Smith.
