It's not easy winning to win the lottery. Heck, it's almost impossible. But it does happen to very lucky people who purchase these life-changing tickets. Lately, there have been very lucky lotto winners in the state of Iowa.

The Powerball Jackpot drawing occurs every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evening. On Wednesday night, the $1.7 billion prize was considered to be one of the biggest prizes in the game's history.  Although the winning jackpot ticket was claimed in Frazier Park, California, one Powerball Jackpot ticket in Iowa did win a huge amount of money.

In a Facebook post and a tweet from the Iowa Lottery, the lucky ticket was sold at Casey's General Store at 222 Central Avenue W. in Clarion, Iowa. This winning Iowa ticket is worth...$50,000! It's not $1.7 billion, but that's still a lot of money!

How did this Iowa Powerball Jackpot win $50,000? This ticket matched four out of the five numbers and the Powerball to win.

These were the winning Powerball Jackpot numbers from Wednesday night:

22, 24, 40, 52, 64, and the Powerball was 10. The Power Play was 2X

Officials with the Iowa Lottery are still looking for the winner of the $50,000 prize. Since this is a giant prize, officials are asking the winner to visit the Iowa Lottery headquarters location in Clive, Iowa. The Lottery Headquarters is located at 130001 University Avenue.

The next Powerball Jackpot drawing will be on Saturday, October 14th. Although it's not over a billion dollars, the estimated Powerball Jackpot is worth $20 million. All you need is one ticket for a chance to win a lot of money.

Good luck and happy playing!
