Christine Manika is one half of the Morning Show on KXRB and has been part of the team since the summer of 2019. Prior to joining KXRB, Christine moved to Sioux Falls shortly after graduating college in 2018 to jump-start her career as a Multimedia Journalist at a local television station. She would write, edit, shoot, and report stories throughout the Sioux Empire. Christine was able to connect with public officials and community members to share their stories with viewers. Christine hails from North Riverside, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Christine enjoys running on the bike trails or exploring Sioux Falls with friends and her husband. She also loves spending time with her family and friends. Some fun facts about Christine: She’s a twin! Christine’s twin sister Katie is currently a veterinarian at Springbrook Animal Care Center in Naperville, Illinois! She also loves her dog, Honey. Christine is very passionate about all types of music and sports. Her favorite band is U2 and her favorite sports team is the Chicago White Sox (win or lose)
