Fun Awaits with Adult Nights at the Great Plains Zoo!
It's hard to believe, but we are moving ever deeper into the fall season and before you know it, we'll be talking about all things Halloween! So now is the time to start planning some of the things you'd like to do to celebrate the leaf-falling season.
Two of the most fun autumn events are happening at the Great Plains Zoo. They are designed just for adults too. So call a sitter and join in some grown-up fun!

Oktoberfest at the Zoo: A Taste of Bavaria
First up is the Great Plains Zoo Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26, from 6 to 9 PM. You'll find delicious Bavarian-themed goodies such as Brats, Bavarian Pretzels, Beer Cheese Loaded Fries, and, of course - beer!
You can even add a beer sampler package when you purchase your tickets and get to try some local brews throughout the zoo campus.
There will be lawn games you can play in between visiting the amazing zoo animals and live music from the awesome Brass Holes, too. Get your tickets now.
A Spooktacular Celebration: Adult Boo at the Zoo!
You just can't go wrong with the Great Plains Zoo's Adult Boo on October 10! It's a Halloween-themed evening with all kinds of fun just for us grownups! It includes spooky-themed menu items like the Munster Mash Burger or Mummy Pigs-in-a-Blanket, and quench your thirst with some Hocus Pocus Punch, all available to purchase throughout the zoo campus.
There will be a live DJ and Haunted House presented by Good Times Entertainment. And you won't want to miss the Old-Fashioned Haunted Mansion Photo-Op, which will be something for your memory album.

Of course, one of the best things about being at the Great Plains Zoo for Adult Boo will be the chance to see your favorite animals and do it while in costume. You can also compete in the costume contest in the individual, couples, or group categories. See costume guidelines online.
