If you know it's fall in Sioux Falls, you know that means changing leaves, cooler temperatures, pumpkin everything...and the return of one delicious downtown tradition.

The Annual Sioux Falls Pork Showdown is back October 1 through 31, and it's giving local food lovers an excellent excuse to eat their way through downtown Sioux Falls.

Twenty-six downtown restaurants will go head-to-head in this flavorful culinary competition, each serving up its own creative take on pork. And we're guessing these aren't going to be your everyday pork chops!

This is your chance to try something new, discover a new favorite restaurant, and, most importantly, decide which dish deserves bragging rights.

Join the Tasting Adventure and Cast Your Vote

Here's where you come in. After enjoying one of the participating restaurants' Pork Showdown creations, diners can cast their vote using the provided QR code or through the DTSF App. Entries will be judged on three important categories: flavor, presentation, and originality.

So while the chefs are doing the cooking, Sioux Falls diners get to help decide the winner. And when October comes to an end, one restaurant will have earned the title of 2026 People's Choice Champion.

Whether you're a dedicated foodie, just love supporting local restaurants, or simply someone who believes that a month-long excuse to eat pork sounds pretty darn good, the Sioux Falls Pork Showdown is worth checking out.
