Sioux Falls Kicks Off Its Holiday Giving Season This November

Downtown Sioux Falls is getting ready to kick off the holiday shopping season by launching Downtown Gives once again.

Every year Downtown Sioux Falls (DTSF) brings together their business community to give back during the holiday season. With the purchase of a coupon book, shoppers can enjoy special offers and discounts at over 22 participating Downtown Sioux Falls businesses, all while supporting a local nonprofit making a lasting impact in the community.

This year’s beneficiary, Emily’s Hope, works to eliminate the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and helps individuals and families access treatment and recovery resources. The proceeds from every coupon book sold will go directly toward supporting Emily’s Hope’s mission and programming.

You can get involved in this great program just by stopping at participating downtown businesses, picking up a coupon book, and then just shopping local - and a lot!

DTSF CEO, Brandon Hanson said, "By shopping local through Downtown Gives, community members are helping both our small businesses and the vital organizations working to strengthen the heart of our city."

The coupon books can be purchased beginning Saturday, November 1, and throughout the holiday season, with exclusive deals redeemable through March 31, 2026, providing plenty of time for locals and visitors alike to enjoy everything Downtown Sioux Falls has to offer.
