CNN quoted Charles Lindsey, associate professor of marketing at the University at Buffalo School of Management saying “The fear of missing out is an especially powerful psychological tool and we see it affect everything from financial markets to, yes, cups.”

Stanley's Quencher Cup, with its vibrant color options and impressive capability to maintain beverage temperatures, gained immense popularity.

Following its viral success on social media, Stanley's annual sales purportedly soared from $75 million to $750 million in 2023 alone.
