When you were real young did you have a piggy bank?

Mine was the clear glass pig shaped one. Then, I graduated to the mock safe with a real combination. Cool!

My parents tried everything they could to get me to save money. Opening up a savings account. Savings Bonds. Then a checking account came along and sunk the ship.

Today is one of those days we here about in my friend Chad's Big Book of Stuff: Teach Your Child To Save Day.

It's sort of like the Dave Ramsey philosophy.   Live like no one else, so later you can live like no one else.
