‘Snirtfest’ Returns to Great Bear Ski Valley This Weekend
You can take it as another sign that Spring is coming. Great Bear Ski Valley Recreation Park is getting ready to wrap up their Winter season. But when they do, they won't do it in a quiet way. Instead, they're sending winter out with a bash!
"Snirtfest 2025" is coming up this Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Snow and dirt equals "snirt" and it's a great name to describe the fun that will be going on.
Skiing and snowboarding will be open through the weekend. The tubing park is already closed.
Every year there is a different theme and this year it is the "Wild West". So dress up in your western finery and come out for a lot of end-of-winter fun.
The roster of events is a great one, but make sure you register at Guest Services 45 minutes prior to each event to get in on the fun.
- 12 PM - Coca-Cola presents an Invitational Race
- 2:30 PM - Zipfy Sled Race
- 4 PM - Pond Skim
There is a $10 entry fee for the Zipfy Sled Race and Pond Skim. All proceeds will be donated to the Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety.
You can also get in early on the Winter 25-26 season at Great Bear by buying your season pass at the lowest prices of the year.
