Construction began on the Sioux Falls DDI in 2022 and is near completion.
The current traffic pattern is in a more simplified DDI configuration with one lane in each direction over the bridge. All lanes of the DDI are anticipated to open at the end of June.
All on- and off-ramps are open except for westbound traffic on the northbound off-ramp.
When taking the northbound off-ramp from I-29, the left-turning lane is currently closed to traffic, and motorists can only turn right on to 41st Street.
Sidewalks across the 41st Street bridge will remain closed until other construction work is completed.
