Sioux Falls Makes Livability’s Best 100 Places to Live List
It's not the first time that Sioux Falls has had this honor bestowed upon it, but it never gets old!
Livability is a website that explores what makes small to mid-size cities great places to live. Every year, they pick 100 of the best of these cities in the U.S. and tell everyone what makes them so great.

Once again, Sioux Falls got kudos for our thriving economy and job market, family-friendliness, outdoor activities, educational opportunities, cultural and entertainment scene, multiple healthcare options, and a never-ending list of places to go and things to do.
The whole objective of Livability's cities studies is to help people find the perfect place to live. And they think very highly of Sioux Falls in multiple areas.
They answer the question, "Why Will You Love Living in Sioux Falls?" with volumes of information.
It’s a desirable place to live, with a robust economy, affordable housing, competitive schools, terrific health care options and neighbors who often turn into friends
They go on to mention how great a place this is for families with our amazing park and trail system, great schools, tons of annual family events, historic sites, museums, and more.
Livability also thinks that our regional airport makes this a great place for people who love to travel. And speaking of travel, they mention road-tripping from Sioux Falls to Omaha, Minneapolis, and Des Moines for other entertainment options nearby.
But they also indicate it would be quite a while before you run out of things to do in this area. They go on to list the Washington Pavilion, the Levitt (in the Summer), the Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium, Sculpture Walk, Great Bear, Wild Water West, not to mention our park system, farmers markets, Sioux Falls Canaries, live music venues, and much more.
If that small list of great things about Sioux Falls doesn't convince people what a great city we have, nothing will.
