Whether you're a lifelong comic-book fan, a serious gamer, an anime fanatic, a movie and TV junkie, or simply someone who enjoys seeing what people can do with a really good costume, there's something about Siouxpercon that makes it hard not to get caught up in the fun.

And let's be honest: where else can you walk into a convention center and see superheroes, villains, anime characters, and video-game favorites all hanging out together?

Siouxpercon is more than just a convention. It's a chance for fans to meet the people behind some of their favorite movies, shows, games, and comics, check out artists and vendors, participate in activities, show off their cosplay, and spend a few days surrounded by people who love the same things they do.

And if you've never been to one, don't worry. You don't have to know every comic-book character or recognize every cosplay to have a good time.

Sometimes it's just fun to walk around and take it all in.

Plus, Siouxpercon is also a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish South Dakota & Montana, Reach Literacy and the JY6 Foundation. Siouxpercon has raised over $50-thousand dollars for charity over the years, and their goals get bigger all the time.

Star-Studded Guests Lineup for Siouxpercon

The list of guests this year is long and star-studded, beginning with actor, director, musician, and voiceover star Robbie Benson. Matt Vogel, a core Muppet performer, will also be here, along with Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead, Jenette Goldstein from multiple movies and voiceover work - and that is just a very short list.

Also new this year is the Siouxper Burlesque Brunch, a fundraiser for Siouxpercon, that is being held at The Den on Sunday, September 27 at 11 AM.

Back at the Denny, there will be a free Children's Book Giveaway on all 3 Siouxpercon days (while supplies last). Kids can get a free copy of Wings of an Eagle by South Dakota native and Olympic Gold Medalist, Billy Mills.

So whether you're ready to geek out or simply curious about what all the Siouxpercon fuss is about, September 25-27 is your chance to experience one of Sioux Falls' most colorful and fun annual events.
