A popular breakfast and brunch restaurant in the Midwest, Early Bird, is planning to open its first South Dakota location later this summer. The new spot will move into the former Jacky’s Burrito Express location at 3101 West 41st Street, which closed up shop last week in that location.

If the name Early Bird sounds somewhat familiar, there’s a good chance you’ve traveled through Nebraska or Iowa, where the growing chain has already built a loyal following. The restaurant first launched in Nebraska and has steadily expanded into neighboring states. Now, Sioux Falls is next in line to join the flock.

According to SiouxFalls.Business, the restaurant plans to serve a menu designed to make breakfast and brunch fans very happy. Early Bird’s offerings go well beyond your standard eggs-and-toast routine. Guests can expect creative breakfast favorites, hearty brunch options, and plenty of lunch choices as well.

The menu is expected to feature everything from classic breakfast plates and specialty dishes to burgers, sandwiches, tacos, soups, and salads. It sounds like the kind of place where deciding what to order might take a minute because everything looks so good.

When it opens, the Sioux Falls location will become the 10th Early Bird restaurant in the chain.

If construction and preparations stay on schedule, Early Bird hopes to see customers start flocking in sometime this August. The restaurant will be open daily from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
