Taste The World In Downtown Sioux Falls This Summer
If you're stuck in Sioux Falls this summer with no exciting vacation planned, now you can take a tour of some of the world's finest cuisine without having to leave the 605.
Three downtown Sioux Falls restaurants are teaming up over the next few months to give foodies in the Sioux Empire a few culinary delights they won't soon forget.
The event is being called the "Passport to the World: International Weekend Nights."

As Dakota News Now reports, one weekend per month through September, DaDa Gastropub, Parker’s Bistro, and Club David will be highlighting a different cuisine from a different part of the world, and this special culinary adventure even comes with a passport.
Stacy Newcomb, the owner of Parker's Bistro, told Dakota News Now, “We’ve got five months of doing three different cities each month so it’s sort of a, we’re calling it Passport to the World because it’s just a way for people in Sioux Falls to experience some of the culture and cuisine from fiteen cities around the world.”
Speaking of the passport...
Each restaurant will stamp your passport once you've finished your culinary adventure. So, the more culinary adventures you take, the more stamps you'll get, and the better your chances of winning exciting prizes along the way.

Newcomb told Dakota News Now, “We’ll stamp it for you, and if you end up with ten stamps at the end of the summer, and this goes on until September, then we’re having like a surprise final event in an undisclosed location with an undisclosed cuisine. So you’ll be invited to come to that as well. It’s just kind of a fun way to get people out and about and try some new things."
When is the next Passport to the World event?
The next one is slated to happen at the end of June on the 27th and 28th. During those two days, the three participating restaurants will be highlighting Lima, Peru, Naples, Italy, and Vancouver, Canada.
