Another dumping of snow is coming our way. Some parts of Sioux Falls received almost 10 inches of snow on Christmas Day, tying the record for 4th snowiest Christmas in Sioux Falls according to KDLT. Frankie MacDonald says we're going to get hit again Monday, December 28, 2015,

Amateur Canadian weatherman, Frankie MacDonald's latest forecast says to expect 30 centimeters of snow (that's just under 12 inches for us Americans). He says a massive snow storm is coming our way along with strong winds. As always, Frankie has some great advice to get prepared for this storm.

The National Weather Service says there is a Winter Storm Watch in effect from 12:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 through 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Snow is expected to develop early on Monday, becoming heavy at times during the afternoon. Periodic heavy snow will continue into Monday night before decreasing in intensity Tuesday morning.

Total snow accumulations of 6-10 inches are possible. The highest snowfall amounts are expected to be along and east of I-29.

Northeast winds will increase through the afternoon on Monday and into the evening. These winds combined with the snow may reduce visibility below a mile at times making for difficult driving conditions during the morning and evening commutes.
