What they were looking for were environments that encouraged self-improvement.
They compared 182 cities in 5 resolution categories: Financial, Health, School & Work, Bad Habits, and Relationships.
Within those categories, Wallet Hub examined things like access to exercise opportunities and healthy food stores, median annual incomes, credit scores and credit card debt, home ownership, quality of schools & universities, unemployment rates, job satisfaction, family-friendly and single-friendly entertainment options, and much, much more.
When all the numbers had been distilled down, it turned out that Sioux Falls isn't a bad place to keep your resolutions after all. Our city came in 45th out of 182.
