What do thousands of holiday lights have to do with your holiday celebration? Lots! Just seeing that many lights can bring a smile to the most "grinchy" among us. That is what you'll be seeing this Friday night at Falls Park: lots of lights and lots of smiles.

In fact, the whole Winter Wonderland celebration kicks off with a bang. At 5:00 PM, it is the lighting of thousands of holiday lights, and then at 6 PM, fireworks will light the sky even more above the island of lights below.

Don't miss your chance to take the elevator up the 5-story viewing tower for the best view of this awesome creative display. There are over 29 miles of light strands, 260 lighted trees, 215 decorated light poles, and more than a mile of garland.

You will have a chance to take in the view of Winter Wonderland from this Friday, November 21, through January 5, 2026. Every one of those evenings this remarkable display will be lit from 5 PM to Midnight.

This is the Winter Wonderland's 22nd year, believe it or not, and for the first time, the Jacobson Plaza Skate Ribbon will also be lit as part of the display.

Falls Overlook Cafe will be open from 5 to 9 PM during the grand opening celebration, offering free ice cream while supplies last, and a chili bar with cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate available for purchase. The Lodge at Jacobson Plaza will also be open until 10 PM with lots of food and beverage choices.

So round up your family & friends and start a new tradition, or maybe carry on with the one you already have, and come down to the Winter Wonderland at Falls Park.
