The sudden appearance of a Cardinal outside the window can sometimes be interpreted as a spiritual sign or message from a deceased loved one.

It may be their way of letting you know they are present and listening.

Country Living states "Seeing a cardinal is a sign that your loved ones or angels are near. That they are there to protect, bless and guide you. They are offering you love and encouragement.

If you see a cardinal right after the passing of a loved one, they are letting you know they made it home. Letting you know not to worry, you will be reunited again."

The Northern Cardinal has become widespread in Minnesota.

Originally their breeding was concentrated in the southeastern region of the state, it expanded its range into the Minneapolis area and westward to Owatonna by the 1920s.

Today, this vibrant red songbird can be found inhabiting a substantial portion of Minnesota.

Standing Where South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota Meet

Wanna stand in three states at once? You can do just that at the Tri-State Iron Monument just outside the city of Valley Springs, South Dakota.

It's a simple monument, but it's neat to know so much history lies in the area. You just have to know where to look.
