The Minnesota Vikings got super lucky on Sunday as they avoided a loss to the Carolina Panthers at US Bank Stadium.

Not only did Minnesota rally to come back from a 21-10 deficit in the third quarter, but they survived a missed field goal by Panthers kicker Joey Slye as time expired.

Luck was on their side in the fourth quarter as they settled for a field goal early in the final frame only to get two touchdowns with less than six minutes remaining to complete the comeback.

It was a special day for former Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater even in the loss as it was his first appearance back at US Bank Stadium as a starter since leaving Minnesota.

Kirk Cousins had another huge day as he went 34-45 through the air, with 307 yards passing and three touchdowns on the afternoon.

Minnesota improved to 5-6 on the season and will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday in Minneapolis.

Carolina dropped to 4-8 and 2-4 on the road with a date against the Denver Broncos in Charlotte next week.
