A Reptile Paradise Is Coming To Sioux Falls This Fall
If you're the type of person who finds snakes, bearded dragons, lizards, chameleons, and even turtles cuddly and lovable, your new happy place is about to slither into Sioux Falls.
Reptile Adventure Zoo is planning to open in the coming weeks here in the Sioux Empire. This new scaly little sanctuary will be located in the former South Dakota Driver's Exam Building at 2501 W. Russell Street.
According to an article in Dakota News Now, this combo zoo/pet shop is basically going to be a herpetologist's Disney World. Seriously, the late great Steve Irwin, the world-famous Crocodile Hunter, would be doing backflips, yelling "Crikey" over this place.

Owner, operator Andrew Adam plans to feature his own reptile collection in the zoo portion of the facility.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore more than 100 enclosures featuring a diverse range of reptiles that would probably have Indiana Jones running the other way. We all remember Indie's love of snakes.
If you're the type of reptile lover looking for a more hands-on experience, you will no doubt love the interactive element to the new zoo, with tortoises roaming throughout the facility, and spectators getting a chance to pet live turtles, and even baby alligators if you dare.
The other half of this reptile adventure zoo will feature a pet shop that will sell various pet reptiles and specialize in reptile pet supplies.
