Bark in the Park gives you a chance to run or walk while helping raise money for homeless and neglected pets that come through the doors of the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society each year.

You can choose to walk the 3K or run the 5K, making this an event that works whether you're a serious runner, a casual walker, or someone whose main goal is simply keeping up with the dog.

Day-of registration begins at 8:30 AM and continues until 9:45 AM. While you're getting checked in and ready to go, you can also wander through the business vendor booths and see what the event has to offer.

The walk and run kickoff is at 10 AM, so be sure you're checked in and ready to follow the marked course.

And don't think the fun ends when you cross the finish line!

At 11 AM, the spotlight turns to the pets for the Bark in the Park pet contests. You and your furry friend can show off your stuff for a chance to win some fabulous prize packages. There will also be plenty of vendors and other festivities to enjoy before the event wraps up around noon.

Make a Difference While You Have Fun!
