The search continues for Tyler Weathersby, a Sioux Falls man who went missing after he left his home to go for a walk around 7:45 on the morning of Wednesday, (September 4).

While authorities continue to search, they admit, they've exhausted all their leads in the case at the moment.

Police told Dakota News Now, that they have received well over 100 tips, some from the Crime Stoppers Hotline, while others came in the form of direct phone calls to the PD from citizens.

Officers have followed up on every credible tip given, but, still no sign of Weathersby.

Dakota News Now reports that members of the community have also rallied together in the search for Tyler, utilizing social media as a tool to stay in touch and exchange information.

However, despite the efforts of both law enforcement and community members, Weathersby remains missing.

Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer, Sam Clemens told Dakota News Now, “The detective in charge of the case is investigating everything, but we still need more information. We believe that somebody out there has some piece of information.”

Gregory Weathersby, Tyler's brother, concurs with Clemens. He too believes more tips are needed from the public to help find his missing brother.

That's why authorities and family members continue to solicit the help of the public in providing even more information that will help them locate Weathersby and bring him home.

If you have any footage from the time he started his walk to wherever he may have gone, you're asked to please forward that valuable information to the police department right away.

One of the easiest ways to reach authorities is by contacting Crime Stoppers at 605-367-7007.
