Over Half Of Us Are Clueless About Our Cars

Can you change a flat tire on your car? How about change your own oil? Or better yet,  replace the tranny?

If you can replace a tranny, you're my new Elvis!

Would you believe that at least half of us are bumbling idiots when it comes to even the most basic car repairs, maintenance, and tasks.

According to a recent survey, 58% of Americans have no idea how to change their own oil, or even top off the oil without doing the whole changing process.

Oh wait, it gets better. 49% don't know how to repair a flat.

29% don't know how to refill the washer fluid, which is as simple as popping the hood, finding the cap labeled "windshield fluid", lifting it up and pouring in the fluid. We're talking real tough stuff here. Even for some people without the last name Kardashian, believe it or not.

And now for the scariest stat of them all, 1% of the population has no idea how to pump their own gas.

These people should not be allowed to drive, period! For that matter, even own a car.
