The festival will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palace City Brewing and will feature more than 25 breweries from across the Midwest. Beer lovers will have the opportunity to sample creations from breweries throughout South Dakota, as well as Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, and Minnesota.

Celebrate Community and Craft Beer

The goal of the event is to introduce people to new breweries and unique beers they may not have had the chance to experience before, without traveling across the region. Organizers hope the festival becomes a celebration not only of craft beer but also of community and Midwest brewing culture.

There are three ticket options available for the event. VIP tickets are $50 and include early access beginning at noon, along with a commemorative tasting glass. General Admission tickets are $40 and include a tasting glass with entry starting at 1:00 PM. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $5.

The festival will feature more than just beer. Guests can also enjoy food from three food trucks, live music from Age Before Beauty, yard games, merchandise, and a special can release created just for the event.

Launching a Regional Beer Festival

For Palace City Brewing, the festival marks a major milestone. The brewery has only been open for 18 months, making the launch of a large-scale regional beer festival an exciting step forward for the business.

The event also gives visitors the chance to explore Palace City Brewing’s fully restored 113-year-old building while spending time in Mitchell and supporting local tourism and businesses.

For craft beer enthusiasts looking for a summer road trip destination, Mitchell may soon become the place where “pour decisions” are happily made.
