Kids Note to Potential Girlfriend Goes Kinda Wrong

Did you ever send or receive a note like this in grade school?  This note was posted by Reddit user "reasonable-doubt".  It was found in a box of elementary school projects.

I sent a note very much like this to Michelle Budd when I was in first grade.

You've got to feel for this young lad.  He got the big circled NO.  I do however respect the young lady for letting him down easy by adding the footnote: "I'm sorry I already have a boyfriend, but when we break up your next".  Despite the grammatical error, don't ya think it's kinda sweet?

Oh, by the way...Michelle circled YES.  But the relationship didn't last long.  Matt Hoffland, who had a cooler bike, stole her away from me.
