I hope I got your attention with the title of this article

I mean, after all, isn't that our never-ending task in life to SAVE money? So check this out, if you live in Minnesota, or you are heading out there to SPEND some time with family or friends - I want you to know a few tips on where you can go shopping for groceries and have some money left over - Now if you are trying to stay on a reasonable budget, there are some grocery stores I would avoid out in Minnesota for one reason only - and thanks in part to a study from US News and World Report, you can save some well-earned money!

I won't call out the more expensive stores by name...

...but I will tell you that there are two of the least expensive grocery stores in the country that are in Minnesota - Aldi Food Market and Costco. Here is the study that US News and World Report put out last August:

Most Affordable Grocery Stores Across the Country

( By the way, the other grocery stores that made US News and World Report's list of the most affordable grocery stores are not in Minnesota )

7. Costco

6. Grocery Outlet

5. Market Basket

4. Lidl

3. WinCo Foods

2. Woodman's Markets

1. Aldi

So if you are reading this, and you live in North Dakota, as far as I know, there are only two Costo Wholesale stores - Bismarck has one and West Fargo has the other. Good news if you are watching every penny.
