After Delays, Temporary Closure of Busy Sioux Falls Street is On
After being delayed twice by our recent extreme winter weather, a temporary closure of a Sioux Falls street is finally happening.
Parts of East 85th Street, which was originally scheduled to be closed overnight from January 8 to January 9, and then from January 9 to January 10 will be now closed between Minnesota Avenue and Cliff Avenue (specifically between Brookside Circle and Clearwater Place) tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 PM to tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:30 AM

85th Street Construction - Sioux Falls
The closure to allow crews to place girders on both sides of the South Veterans Parkway bridge.
South Veterans Parkway is the remaining 8.7 miles of Veterans Parkway that will connect Interstate 29 to Interstate 90.
The project is anticipated to be fully completed in 2027.
