$25,000 Reward Being Offered for Information on South Dakota Cold Case

A South Dakota missing person case that has gone unsolved for the past decade is getting renewed interest from authorities who are trying to gather updated information on the incident in the hopes of making an arrest.

Attorney General Marty Jackley says a $25,000 reward is now being offered to anyone who provides crucial information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the disappearance of Rachel Cyriacks.

The case involves the disappearance of the then-30-year-old on November 13, 2013.

That day, Cyriacks was en route from her hometown in Woonsocket to Huron, 25 miles away. She has not been seen since and authorities believe that her disappearance was 'involuntary'.

In a press release announcing the reward, Jackley said:

'There are people who know what happened to Rachel 10 years ago. It is time to bring Rachel home and we are providing this reward as a further incentive to convince those who know to finally step forward.'

Jackley confirmed that in the last month, Department of Criminal Justice agents have been conducting interviews with potential witnesses, and searches have been conducted at locations throughout the state.
