Minnesota Photographer Rages Over Trash on Local Black Beach

A local Minnesota photography is not hiding her feelings after seeing a beautiful and rare Midwest beach covered in trash.

The photographer name is Faith and she is based in Pine City, Minnesota. She's the owner of Ethereal Visuals, LLC. Faith and her clients were heading to the Black Beach located on the shores of Lake Superior in Silver Bay, Minnesota for a "Sunrise Session."  To their surprise, someone left all their fake petal on the beach and didn't bother to clean it up. Faith was not happy when she saw the beach covered in fake petals. She wasn't afraid to share her anger in a Facebook post either.

Let's just say Faith didn't appreciate the fake petals left behind for others to clean-up.

Nothing says 'forever' quite like covering Black Beach in hundreds of fake rose petals and then leaving them there for everyone else to clean up.

This morning, my clients and I showed up for our sunrise session and found this mess scattered across the beach. Not a few petals that accidentally blew away. Hundreds of them. Clearly left behind after a proposal or elopement.

And since apparently cleaning up after themselves was too much work, I’m currently picking them all up.

Her rant on Facebook and Instagram combined has over 100,000 reactions, over 10,000 comments, and over 3,000 shares. Looks like other Minnesotans aren't too happy about this mess either.

They should have cleaned up their mess ! Wildlife is being destroyed because of us. We need to absolutely do better and be held accountable

Is anyone talking about the fact that animals will eat these and DIE…… those poor babies

Others seem to think Faith is overreacting and she's responding to the online hate...heads up about some language used too!

Otherwise known as the Onyx Beach, hundreds of tourists go to the Black Beach each year. It's quite the sight to see! I don't blame people like Faith getting upset that trash was left behind. What do you think?
