International Women’s Day

I've told you all about how March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, but March is also Women History Month and March 8th was International Women's Day!

March is basically all about women! And, St. Patrick, I guess.

Women's History Month highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

Whereas, International Women's Day is a focal point in the movement for women's rights.

The internet was all abuzz on Sunday, March 8th in honor of International Women's Day so I thought I would gather a bunch of my favorite memes, videos, etc from this year's celebration!

To start off, a little shameless promotion. I saw this meme and just had to share it with my own personal message about being a woman and my Endometriosis battle.  

I love Grey's Anatomy! They have had some really groundbreaking storylines for women on this show! If you don't have goosebumps by the end of this montage, I don't need your kind of negativity in my life.    

What would a post about strong women be without the women of Law & Order: SVU! I mean Olivia Benson is basically the most badass, awesome woman in the whole world.

Women can be so mean to each other and think there is only room enough for one female in their workplace or in their friend group or wherever! But we really should try to be there for each other and lift each other up!
