Turn Your Skills Into Joy For Shelter Animals In Sioux Falls
Sharing just a little bit of your time with the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society could make a huge difference at the shelter. Right now, they really need volunteers to help care for the fur babies in residence in both a hands-on and hands-off capacity.

If you can spend some time socializing with the shelter residents or walking dogs several times a week, that would be fantastic. But volunteers are also needed to foster animals and do things like help clean the shelter, do laundry, and help transport animals to vet clinics, and other animal rescues.
There are also tons of DIY projects you can do to help. Do you love baking? You'll find recipes for dog treats on the DIY Crafts page. Don't bake, but would love to make frozen pupsicles? You'll find directions for those, too. Don't want to make treats, but would love to help pups anyway, you could make a doggie bandana or treat dispenser.
How about those fuzzy feline friends? You'll find a whole list of things you can make for them, from fleece blankets to no-sew toys, puzzle boxes, catnip toys, and much more.

If you're a woodworker, there are even projects you can do for the dogs' play yard and walking trails that would be so great for the pups waiting for forever homes.
There are so many ways you can volunteer for the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society. For more information, check out their Volunteering page.
