Fall Fun Awaits At The Brookings Fall Classic
There are so many reasons to head north up I-29 to Brookings: The Children's Museum of South Dakota, McCrory Gardens, South Dakota State University, The South Dakota Art Museum, Nick's Burgers (of course), and more.
Now, you'll have another great reason to visit. The Brookings Fall Classic is right around the corner! This phenomenally fun fall festival is coming up on Saturday, October 4, and is going to be loaded with all kinds of family-friendly activities, not to mention all the great fall shopping you can do, too.

The Brookings Fall Classic gets underway at 10 AM in Downtown Brookings on Main Avenue, with a vendor fair. There will also be a farmer's market from 10 AM to 1 PM on 4th Street, a petting zoo, free pumpkin painting, and a photo booth where families can take fall-themed photos.
There will be plenty of crafts for the kids to do and live music from Emma Nichole at 11 AM. Plus lots of food and beverages for purchase.
Following all the morning activities, they'll be showing the family movie "Little Giants", a funny fall football film, at the south end of Main Avenue, beginning at 1 PM. The street fair ends at 5 PM, but everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair and stay to watch the SDSU football game on a huge screen.
