Don't Miss Racing and High Performance Swap Meet at Fairgrounds!

Just take a look out your windows and you know that racing season is still months away! But that doesn't mean you can't daydream about the next season of fast cars and fast action at the area racetracks.

Whether you're a professional driver, a model car collector, or just a fan of all of it, this Race & High-Performance Swap Meet is for you. This Saturday, January 14th at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in the Expo Building from 8 AM to 3 PM is where it's all going on.

You can buy and sell racing equipment (6 vendors will be there), learn more about the sport, talk to drivers, find out about area racetrack seasons, talk to fellow enthusiasts, or even participate in the model car contest for kids and adults.

Tickets are $8, but 12, and under are free.

13 Times Sioux Falls Made it into a 'Jeopardy!' Question

If the world was divided into Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune people, I would be down for Jeopardy! all the way. It's a lot more fun, it makes me feel smart because I can retain lots of trivia, and I am a horrible speller. So Wheel is out, no whammies.

Recently I discovered (I mean wasted a lot of time on) a website that is an archive of clues that have been on Jeopardy!.

While digging around the archive, I wanted to find out how often Sioux Falls came up in a question (Answer) on the show. Since 1990 Sioux Falls has been part of a question or an answer 13 times.
