
Chrysler Recalls Over 338,000 Vehicles Due To Dangerous Steering Issue
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that Chrysler (FCA, US, LLC) has issued a recall of 338,238 vehicles due to a steering suspension problem.
If you are a Jeep owner you'll want to be aware of this recall. Vehicles affected include 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles produced between December 2020 and May 2023.
The problem could be a dangerous loss of steering control because of a steering knuckle separation.
The vehicles included in this recall are 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles produced between Dec. 3, 2020, and May 30, 2023, along with 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokees produced between Dec. 19, 2021 and May 30, 2023.
According to NHTSA-
Dealers will replace the upper control arm pinch bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 10B.
