‘Worlds Tallest Family’ Is From This Small Minnesota Town
Did you know that there is a Guinness Record for 'World's Tallest Family' and they are from Minnesota?
I had no idea. But there is...and they do.
The Guinness World Record for Tallest Family belongs to the 5 members of the Trapp family who live in Esko, Minnesota.
Esko is a town of 2,082 just southwest of Duluth, Minnesota.
The five members of the Trapp family include Scott, Krissy, Savanna, Molly, and Adam whose combined family height is over 32 feet!
On 6 December 2020, the Trapps were confirmed as the tallest family in the world with an average height of 6 ft 8.03 in.
- Scott (Dad) is 6 ft 8 inches tall.
- Krissy (Mom) is 6 ft 3 inches tall.
- Savanna Trapp-Blanchfield (Daughter) is 6 ft 8 inches tall.
- Molly Steede (Daughter) is 6 ft 6 inches tall.
- Adam Trapp (Son) is 7 ft 3 inches tall.
In December 2020 the whole family was measured 3 times in one day by Dr. Anna Sudoh, an orthopedics doctor at Essentia Health, to meet the official Guinness Book World Record requirements.
In an interview, the Trapp family stated that their hope is that their record-breaking tallness will empower others who are unique or feel different.
