What You Need to Know About Great Plains Zoo ‘Egg-stravaganza’!

If you and your family are looking for a fabulously fun springtime celebration of all things Easter, then this event is the one you don't want to miss!

The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum Egg-stravaganza is coming up on Saturday, April 8 from 10 AM to 1 PM, at the Great Plains Zoo at 805 S. Kiwanis Avenue.

There will be visits with zoo animals, storytimes, the egg hunt, of course, and lots and lots of photo opportunities with Snow White and Marvel's Falcon.

Also, because the Canaries Community Fund is the official egg hunt sponsor, Canaries mascot Cagey will be on hand meeting & greeting everyone too!

Egg-stravaganza admission is included with Monarch and Gold memberships. Members with Standard memberships (including those whose 2022 membership is still good) can enjoy discounted event admission ($5 online or $7 for walkup).

Special event admission is in effect for all other guests. For non-members, it is $18 for adults, $17 for Seniors, and $14 for kids - online purchase only, admission is $2 more per person at the gate. Children under 2 are free.

Here is the Egg-stravaganza schedule:

• 10 AM to 1 PM - Egg biofacts, character photos, and crafts
• 10:15 AM - Animal story in Classroom
• 11 AM - Egg Hunt for ages 4 & under
• 11:30 AM - Creature Feature in the Lobby
• 11:30 AM - Egg Hunt for ages 5 and up
• 12:30 PM - Animal story in Classroom
• 1 PM - Creature Feature in the Lobby
