New York Giants punter Brad Wing and San Fransisco 49ers running back Jarryd Hayne made NFL history on Sunday Night Football this week.

It was the first time in NFL history that an Australian punter kicked to a Australian punt returner on Sunday Night Football.

As the 49ers took on the Giants on Sunday Night Football, the Giants were forced to punt in the third quarter for the first time of the game and Brad Wing punted the ball 35 yards to the San Fransisco 12 yard line where Jarryd Hayne fair caught the ball.

Then again in the third quarter, the Giants were forced to punt and this time when Hayne received Wing's punt, he returned it 16 yards.

Wing and Hayne's journey to the NFL are different even though they started in the same place.

Wing played Australian League Football before coming to the United States and attending LSU and punting for the Tigers.  He has spent time with the Eagles, Steelers and now the New York Giants.

Hayne was a Rugby superstar in Australia and decided he wanted to pursue his NFL dream and signed on with the 49ers this offseason.

The New York Giants would go on to beat the San Fransisco 49ers 30-27 on Sunday Night Football.
