
South Dakota Special Olympics Super Sioux Falls Truck Convoy
The 22nd Annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics will be rolling back into Sioux Falls on Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, for a truly unique fundraising event.
The Truck Convoy is a celebration of the trucking industry and its support of the Special Olympics. It is also a very special collaboration between law enforcement members and area truckers for two days of events.

Trucks start arriving at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds on Friday evening, September 19. And - here is the schedule of events:
- Noon - Trucks can arrive anytime after and will be staged and parked on the paved lot east of the Grandstand.
- 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM - Truck Registration
- 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM - Silent Auction Opens
- 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM - Vendors
- 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM - Dinner (while supplies last)
- 6:00 PM - Poker Registration
- 7:00 PM - Poker Begins
- Dusk - Light Show
One of the major highlights begins at dusk when the amazing light show begins with all of the truckers showing off their creative and beautifully lit semis!
Here is the Saturday, September 20 schedule of events:
- 10:15 AM - Truck Lineup
- 10:30 AM - Convoy leaves Fairgrounds
- 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Lunch
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Truck Show Judging
- Noon - Silent Auction Ends
- 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM- Live Auction
- 1:30 PM - Kids' Raffle
- 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Presentation of Awards and Trophies
Since 2004, this extraordinary event has raised over $690,000 for South Dakota Special Olympics!

These funds support over 3,000 South Dakota Special Olympians in their activities and allow them to continue training in over 26 sports programs throughout the year.
