A listener heard me mention yesterday that January is "Wealth Mentality Month," and thought I would get a kick out of the following story:

Money can buy you a house, but not a home.

Money can buy you a bed, but not sleep.

Money can buy you a clock, but not time.

Money can buy you a book, but not knowledge.

Money can buy you a position, but not respect.

Money can buy you medicine, but not health.

Money can buy you blood, but not life.

Money can buy you sex, but not love.

So you see money isn't everything and often causes pain and suffering.

This is where she sprung the rest of the story on me, as Paul Harvey used to say:

I tell you this because I'm your friend, and as your friend I want to take away your pain and suffering - so send me all your money and I'll suffer for you, because that's what friends are for.

Thanks for the kind offer, but I better check with the wife first.
