Taco John's 'Dine In to Take Out Cancer' Going On Today

If all you had to do to help a friend or family member going through a cancer journey was have a delicious meal, you'd do it. Wouldn't you?

Well, that is exactly what is going on today, Wednesday, April 30, from 5 to 8 PM at all Sioux Falls, Mitchell, and Yankton Taco John's restaurants.

All you do is dine in or drive through any of these Taco John's and 50% of sales will go to support the Avera Race Against Cancer. Funds raised by the Avera Race support patients receiving services and care at the Avera Cancer Institute in Sioux Falls.

The Avera Race Against Cancer is coming up on Saturday, May 10, beginning and ending at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center. Events get underway at 7 AM and will include:

1.5-mile family walk
3-mile walk
Chip-timed 5K or 10K run

Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers for both the 5K and 10K runs.

You can even join the Taco John's and Five Guys Team and run or walk with them!

Or you could make your contribution by just having a scrumptious Taco John's meal today, Wednesday, April 30th, from 5 to 8 PM at any Sioux Falls, Mitchell, or Yankton Taco John's. Easy peasy!

13 Times Sioux Falls Made it into a 'Jeopardy!' Question

If the world was divided into Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune people, I would be down for Jeopardy! all the way. It's a lot more fun, it makes me feel smart because I can retain lots of trivia, and I am a horrible speller. So Wheel is out, no whammies.

Recently I discovered (I mean wasted a lot of time on) a website that is an archive of clues that have been on Jeopardy!.

While digging around the archive, I wanted to find out how often Sioux Falls came up in a question (Answer) on the show. Since 1990 Sioux Falls has been part of a question or an answer 13 times.
