If you haven't heard of Horsepower and the amazing work they do, you're probably not alone. But Horsepower has quietly been making a real difference in people's lives for 40 years now.

Horsepower is a therapeutic riding facility comprised of "five unique programs designed to support the recovery, health, and well-being of individuals facing physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges." They are dedicated to creating a safe place for people to challenge themselves and learn from others.

Coming up next Thursday, September 25, we all have the opportunity to support this great organization by attending an awesome event for Horsepower. It's called "Blue Jeans and Bling, the Black Tie Edition," and it's going on at Winter Green Acres at 100 Spruce Drive in Crooks.

Horsepower will be celebrating 40 years of healing through horses, and you're invited to join the fun by dusting off your boots and adding some bling to your attire for the evening. Formal wear is encouraged but not absolutely necessary.
