South Dakota Road Conditions
Here we go again. We're not receiving a LOT of snow, but what we are getting along with a pretty stiff Northwest Wind, is making for a tough commute for motorists in Southeast South Dakota again Monday Afternoon.
There were reports of numerous accidents along I-29 in the Tea/Harrisburg area and north of Sioux Falls. There were also calls reporting tough visibility on the east west highways.
According to the National Weather Service our forecast:
- Rickey Korthals What the crap people just need to slow down
- Kimberly Erickson Just got to beresford from Sioux Falls.
Saw a car on its top by Parker exit. And watched a crown Vic spin into the median by worthing exit - Shelly Schlagel Near white out conditions at Target on east side Sioux Falls. Side streets getting slippery. Careful at street corners. Saw 2 nearly spin completely around.
- Ashley Losing Just came from the canton exit to sf, seven vehicles in the ditch, including a pickup up on the guard rail, white van on its back, pickup on its side, and a jeep with the drivers side smashed pretty good. Hoping everyone stays safe!
