South Dakota restaurant featured on Guy Fieri's “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” surprisingly announces it's closing its doors.

Owners of Urban Chislic at 831 West 85th St. in Sioux Falls posted a going out of businesses message on their Facebook page stating...

“On behalf of the Urban Chislic family, we would first like to thank all of our loyal customers and friends who have supported us.

Thank you for your business and your relentless support. To our past and current staff (we certainly had some amazing ones), thank you!

Some moved on to more challenging careers in and outside the industry, but all were and still are, great contributors.

It has been quite a 6-year journey. We gave it our all, and we have learned a lot.

But it's time to move on. Thank you, Sioux Falls! Urban Chislic will close permanently Friday, August 30th 2024, at 9PM.”

Guy Fieri and the crew from “Diners, Drive-in's and Dives” were in Sioux Falls from about June 23 through 26, 2020 visiting and taping segments for his show.
