Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop for great deals, with prices organizers say will be hard to beat anywhere else.

Dakota Angler owner Todd Heitkamp says about the 2026 event: "Over 135 vendors will have all the latest and greatest in fishing equipment at prices you won’t find cheaper anywhere else!

The Institute is truly a family show with something for everyone. This year, since the show is over Halloween, kids will be allowed to trick-or-treat at each of the booths!

Two of the industry’s finest fishermen, Tom Boley and Jason Mitchell, will be at this year’s show as well.

If you are interested in fishing, there’s only one place you need to be, and that’s the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center October 30th through November 1st!"

The event is designed to be a family-friendly experience, offering something for fishing enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels.

With the show taking place over Halloween weekend, organizers are adding a fun twist for younger visitors. Kids will be able to trick-or-treat at each of the vendor booths, giving families another reason to bring the little ones along for the festivities.
