Sioux Falls ‘Solar Eclipse Watch Parties’

Weather willing you will be able to view the Solar Eclipse in Sioux Falls between about 11:40 AM to 12:35 PM.

If you'd like to watch it with someone, there are some fun Eclipse Watch Parties going on in Sioux Falls.  Here are a few:

• Washington Pavilion from Noon until 2:00 PM.  There is an admission fee or your membership will get you in too.  The first 200 people will get eclipse viewing glasses.
• Ronning Branch Library from Noon until 2 pm.  They will have viewing glasses available.
• Vance Thompson Vision at 3101 W. 5th St. from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm.  It's a free event.  They are offering free Ice Cream Sandwiches and eclipse viewing glasses.  They do ask that you RSVP on their Facebook page.
• Good Earth State Park at 26924 480th Ave, Sioux Falls from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Bring your solar glasses. Gather outside the visitor center. There will be lessons, activities, crafts and fun. The event is free to attend with just a park entrance license needed to enter the park.
