Sioux Falls Man Receives Gunshot Wound to Leg Early Sunday Morning

A 35-year-old Sioux Falls man is recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained early Sunday morning on the city's east side.

KDLT News is reporting that authorities were called to the scene of a shooting in the 1500 Block of East 10^th Street near Blauvelt Avenue just before 5:00 AM on Sunday, (December 3).

Once they arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital for treatment according to KDLT News.

The incident is still under investigation. Authorities plan to release more details as they become available.
