Murals In Sioux Falls Are Turning Alleys Into Art Galleries
The plan to help beautify the heart of downtown Sioux Falls is going extremely well.
The downtown Sioux Falls Art Walls project is gaining immense popularity within the art community in the Sioux Empire, so much so that only two sections remain for area artists to showcase their skills.
Dakota News Now reports that the Art Walls can be found on the 300 building at 6th and Dakota.

In May, the Washington Pavilion and the owners of the 300 Building formed a partnership to create this new art initiative in downtown Sioux Falls.
The initiative was designed to allow artists to create unique murals that reflect personal expression and community issues, thus turning old dirty, dingy alley walls into an evolving collage of creativity.
Artists of all ages were encouraged to get involved to show off their creativity.
Tirzah Rojas, one of the artists participating in the Art Walls project, told Dakota News Now, “It’s really interesting to see all of the different styles, and the different ages of people who made everything. I can’t wait to see the last one that’s going to be made.”
As mentioned, the plan for the Art Walls project is to be ever evolving. New pieces of art will change over time.
